Amazon Fire TV integrates Live TV from Sling, YouTube TV, and Hulu + Live TV
Amazon announced they are upgrading their Fire TV, Live TV experience by integrating Sling, YouTube TV, and Hulu + Live TV. Live content from these services will now appear in the Live TV tab and also in the channel guide. This makes it much easier to see all viewing options in one place. Many hesitant cord cutters do not like having to switch between apps or inputs to see what content is playing. Now, all live content will be available in one place. Amazon Fire TV, Live TV already integrates with nearly 20 other apps and content providers, including Pluto TV, Philo and Amazon Prime Channels.
Amazon’s Fire TV also has Alexa integration, meaning a user can simply ask Alexa to change the channel. YouTube TV and Sling are available in Live TV now, and Hulu + Live TV will be available in the coming weeks.
